Erasmus+ Sport: Halt4Kids

This week we had an amazing TPM in Salzburg with all partners involved in HALT4Kids, a project which aims to develop awareness about harassment and abuse in sports among child athletes (ages 5-12 years), coaches, athletes/former athletes, physical education students, physical education teachers and sport sector stakeholders.
First digital tools are presented and they looked really great!

  • a new mobile application, designed specifically to protect young athletes from harassment and abuse in sports. This app is a vital tool in our mission to create a safer sporting environment for children aged 5-12.
  • Digital Storytelling (ST) tools, aimed at promoting awareness among child athletes aged 5-8. These stories help young athletes recognize and avoid harassment and abuse in sports through engaging and age-appropriate content.

-serious Game (SG) that uses realistic scenarios to engage young athletes aged 9-12 in critical situations. This interactive tool helps them understand and respond to harassment and abuse in sports, fostering awareness and resilience. The first apps will be available in the app store soon – so stay tuned for the next news!

We discussed also about Dissemination strategy: what we have already done and what we have to do.
This is a very interesting and useful project!
