Here we are! Yesterday we were in Bari, at #Palacarrassi, for the first National Weelchair
Basketball Tournament between Boys Taranto, Crazy Ghost Pontecagnano and Lupiae Lecce, the most important Weelchairs Basketball teams in South Italy.
Despite the heat, many of us gathered to see, support and cheer on these 14 extraordinary athletes who gave us great emotion and important teaching.
Sport helps to go beyond limits and overcome all barriers. Sport is truly a tool for integration. And we are very proud to have contributed, with Forthe project, to promoting sport and social inclusion. Next appointment, the international weelchair basketball turnament in Cyprus from 30th August to 04th September!
Forthe is a project co-funded by European Union, that promotes the importance of equal access and participation for individuals with disabilities through a more knowledge sustainable enviromental and a more reducing waste and plastic use during the big Sport Events.
