A good news!! 

IOC celebrates every year a Safe Sport Day on August 8th and in 2023 launched new safeguarding courses for athletes and their allies aimed to combat harassment and abuse in sports. ((https://lnkd.in/dpCFmM2W))


The two new courses are “Safeguarding Essentials for Young Athletes” and “Safeguarding Essentials for Athlete Allies” (aimed at the members of the athletes’ entourage) and are offered in 10 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Italian and Arabic) and we are very proud that Halt4Kids supports this initiative in order to educate both athletes and members of their entourage about the various forms of harassment and abuse, how to recognise them, ways to prevent these behaviors and how to respond to concerns.
