2025 has begun and new projects too. And we are thrilled to present them!
Special Racket is a project that encourages social inclusion of children and youth with special needs through sports promoting adapted badminton as a social sport. The proposed solution is create a focused complex training programm on adapted badminton based on recommendations of physicians, psychologists and trainers that will be suitable for individuals with special needs (preschoolers, elementary school age and teenagers) and also to create a training guide for families of individuals with special needs.🏸
The project consortium involves organizations from Bulgaria, Italy and Greece – engaged in sports and developing physical activities for children and youth with special needs.
We will develop and reinforce networks, increase capacity and confront ideas and methods in different areas relating to sport and physical activities to promote social inclusion of children and youth with special needs through adapted badminton.
